2005 Venezuela Mission Trip
May 21 – 28 & May 28 – June 4
Background for the 2005 trip:
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and Antioch Baptist Church of the Dekalb Baptist Association along with Henagar Baptist Church of the Sand Mountain Association are coordinating mission trips to Guigue, Venezuela. During the previous two years (2003-2004) we have conducted two trips concentrating in the areas of construction and sports and community evangelism. The new church we are helping to build in Guigue was completed and we celebrated in their new sanctuary. The main focus of this trip was discipling church members and new believers through Bible study and Vacation Bible Schools. Also, we completed electrical and plumbing projects as well. We had the opportunity to conduct baseball and basketball clinics as an avenue to share the Gospel.
